Lindsay Lohan has spent the last couple of months chasing her ex-girlfriend Sam Ronson around the globe.

Amid rumours of restraining orders and changing of locks, it was starting to get a bit embarrassing for party girl LiLo. But her persistence appears to have paid off.

After spending the best part of a week pursuing Sam from one club to the next across London, it seems Linds has finally got her girl.

The tempestuous twosome reunited at the check-in gate at Heathrow yesterday, showing every sign that they’re back on.

And the plot thickened when LiLo was spotted flashing a dazzler on her ring finger.

She also cryptically Twittered: “Leaving London but with my favourite, favourite!!! travel buddy & great news to share!!

Maybe…” You’re such a tease, Linds!

The actress and the DJ discreetly arrived in separate cars at different entrances of Heathrow Terminal 3. But they met up at the check-in desk to make sure they could be seated together back to Los Angeles.

Then they skipped off to the first class lounge – holding hands.

Lindsay’s pals had told us how she was desperate for a reunion. And when we partied with her until the wee small hours of Sunday, we could practically see the smoke coming out of her BlackBerry as she feverishly texted Sam.

Here’s hoping that after a 12-hour flight next to Lilo, Sam will see sense and realise why they split in the first place. Surely she can’t be missing the drama?
