Lindsay Lohan has said her recent trip to India to investigate people trafficking was “life-changing”.
The 23-year-old starlet visited shelters and hospitals in the country while filming a documentary about trafficking and told Extra it was a great experience.
She said: “It was really life-changing – it was a wonderful experience.”
The American actress, who will next be seen in Robert Rodriguez’ crime thriller Machete, said it is important for people to give back, particularly if they have “a voice”.
Li-Lo was also among a host of Hollywood celebrities who called for support for victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
