The American actress has spent time in Britain in recent weeks, hosting a benefit to aid the victims of the Haiti earthquake in London.

Although it wasn’t her first visit to the capital city, it reminded Lindsay how much she loves spending time there.

She has now hinted she is thinking of making a permanent move to the country, explaining it would be much more convenient for her design career to be near fashion capital Paris. “Moving to the UK is in my near future* better dj’s/music and Paris is just a Chunnel away,” she wrote on her Twitter page.

Lindsay is artistic advisor for French fashion house Emanuel Ungaro, and it is believed she is keen to live closer to the label’s headquarters so she can be more involved with the business.

The 23-year-old star recently said she loves being surprised by her life, and hopes her future will bring lots more twists and turns.

“Having my own charity, doing a film that’s nominated,” she said, when asked what her future holds. “I don’t know. I can’t decide what’s going to happen. I don’t want to know, actually. That’s the nice thing about life. It’s a bit mysterious.”
