After her stint in stir and a while in rehab, Lindsay Lohan plans to get back to work with a shot of cinematic full-frontal nudity, her director said Monday.
Matthew Wilder gave the skinny on the star of his upcoming biopic about porn actress Linda Lovelace to goss gazette RadarOnline.com. He emphasized that displaying Lohan’s privates to the world was an “artistic” decision that wasn’t influenced by box office. “It’s not a porn movie, it’s an artistic movie about a porn star,” he told the website.
The film of the iconic porn pioneer will not explicitly feature the formidable talents that made Lovelace famous, Wilder said. However, some special effects may come in to play: “We will not see Lindsay performing oral sex, but there could be some clever play with black boxes or other cinematic tricks that the viewer may see.”
The director wards off any suspicion of sexploitation regarding LiLo’s birthday suit. The full frontal nudity “…will not be cinematic nudity — it will be more violent nudity.”
Lindsay naked will be tempered by violence. That’ll never sell.
The 24-year-old actress, never accused of avoiding over-exposure in her stormy personal history, drops by the Century Regional Detention Center on Tuesday to begin her jail stay. The sentence is for 90 days, but Wilder has been advised she may be released in a month.
After a further 90 days in rehab, the actress can get back to work, perhaps forging a renewed career. After all, full frontal screen dalliances did nothing to waylay the cinematic careers of Helen Mirren or Kate Winslet.
