Lindsay Lohan is hard at work on the New York City leg of her comeback tour, giving an interview to the “Today” show and preparing to host “Saturday Night Live” for the fourth time.

In an interview with “Today’s” Matt Lauer, taped earlier this week and airing Thursday, Lohan said she’s “clean and sober,” and is avoiding the nightlife scene:

“That’s not my thing anymore. I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. And it just wasn’t fun for me. I’ve become more of a homebody. And I like that.”

The actress told Lauer she’s aware she still needs “to go through the process of proving [herself].”

Speaking of proving herself, the promos for Lohan’s latest “SNL” hosting gig have been released.

Alongside Kenan Thompson, Lohan jokes about living in Studio 8H (“To the airducts!”) and gives the entertainment media a hard time about covering her legal issues and personal life. While I’m rooting for Lohan to do well this weekend, she seems a bit nervous in the promos. I suppose it’s been awhile since she last had an acting gig of this magnitude.
