The family that survives scandals together, stays together.

So it is little surprise that it was Lohan family night at the Sunset Tower hotel on Wednesday evening. Lindsay Lohan, sister Ali and mother Dina all made an attempt at family dinner night at the hot dining establishment.

“They really showed a united front,” says one fellow diner. “I don’t know how much they talked together, or how much was eaten, but they were definitely there as a family.”

Even on a day when news broke about Lohan’s latest movie, Labor Pains, going directly to cable (meaning a big blow to the career), the actress seemed unbothered. The family trio arrived late in the evening arm-in-arm for their prime table with a group of friends.

About the only thing missing was Sister Sledge singing “We Are a Family.” However, Lohan’s pal Samantha Ronson was nowhere to be seen.

According to our spy, Lindsay made a double-take as she walked past SNL funnyman Andy Samberg only to recover and give him a big hug. “She went up to him to say hello, he looked a little surprised,” says our diner. “There was some awkward small talk as her purse rested in the crook of her arm and he introduced her to his friend. Lindsay Lohan isn’t quite ready to walk down the catwalk, says Tyson Beckford.

In a recent Nylon magazine interview, Lohan admitted she is looking for work and would love to “sign with IMG and do ad campaigns and model more… That’s fun for me.”

Beckford, who attended a Make Me A Supermodel bash Tuesday in NYC, told Usmagazine.com, “She has the partying part down right. But I don’t think she’s got the focus. I mean, it requires a lot of focus and a lot of people think they can do it, but they really find that it’s a lot harder.” • Read full story…

Lindsay’s new film, “Labor Pains,” will not be released in theaters, Access Hollywood has learned.

Instead, the comedy will premiere on ABC Family, a source for the film’s production company, Nu Image/Millennium Films, confirmed to Access.

Lindsay Lohan believes she can “help people” by acting.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress insists she can improve the lives of her fans by playing characters who are giving and thoughtful.

She said: “I love to act and write and be creative and I want to help people by playing characters that can send a positive message out to whomever may need it.” The 22-year-old star – who is currently dating DJ Samantha Ronson and has completed three stints in rehab – added she has now overcome her demons and is determined to move on with her life. Make no mistake, all that time in the unsolicited spotlight hasn’t left Lindsay Lohan unscathed.

The frequently hounded star has spoken out exclusively to E! News, relaying that the incessant public speculation over the status of her sobriety, the healthiness of her bank account and, perhaps most of all, her relationship with Samantha Ronson has indeed been frustrating for her to endure.

“They need to stop saying we’re fighting,” she said of the media’s fixation on the ups and downs—though mainly downs—of her love life with Ronson.

“People telling lies about me to her and all this garbage. I’m really a good person and I have a good heart and just want to work. The only reason I go to clubs is to hear Samantha spin or be normal.”

Lohan urges people not to believe everything they read.

“I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs and I don’t lie,” she said. “I love to act and write and be creative, and I want to help people by playing characters that can send a positive message out to whomever may need it.” • Read full story…

Confessions of a 22-year-old drama queen!

After her assistant banged up her Maserati yesterday, you’d think Lindsay Lohan’s day couldn’t get any worse, but naturally, it did. Last night, Lindsay and Samantha had one of their infamous screaming catfights, and around 10:30pm a locksmith showed up! Samantha told photogs outside that she locked herself in the bathroom, and though Linds wouldn’t come out of the house, eyewitnesses could hear her crying and screaming, “I never cheated on you!”

“It sounded like Lindsay was going crazy in there – like a toddler throwing a temper tantrum. We’ve heard them fight before, but they’ve never had to call someone to the house like this!”

Sam seemed calm and collected when she emerged from her house half an hour later, but we’re being told that she may have locked herself in the bathroom to get away from Lindsay, and that it was LINDSAY who called the locksmith to open the door.

Sam left the house at 11pm for her DJ gig at One Sunset, and Lindsay stayed behind. Maybe Sam put her on time out?

She’s been so excited to show off her brand new white Maserati as of late, but last night Lindsay Lohan hit a pretty major snag while out in Glendale, California.

The “Mean Girls” hottie ended up in a bit of a fender bender while out cruising around town, much to her chagrin. And the worst part was, she wasn’t the one driving.

LiLo was merely a passenger while her assistant played chauffeur, running into a Subaru that was driving in front of them and damaging the driver-side bumper.Perhaps Lindsay will think twice before handing the keys to her assistant- after all she has two other accidents on her record already.

Seth Rogen says he’s never had a call from Lindsay Lohan regarding a possible work project.

“That’s not true – I never got a call from anyone that works for her,” the actor said at the Los Angeles premiere of his new animated film Monsters Vs Aliens.

Lindsay apparently claimed in the latest issue of Nylon magazine that she was looking to get the Canadian star involved in a future acting project, but “Seth won’t call us back”.

So, would the actor be returning Lindsay’s calls in the future?

Lindsay Lohan traded a DJ for a singer on Saturday night, although both were named Sam.

Lilo took in an after-hours performance of singer Sam Sparro last night in Los Angeles, at Hollywood hotspot Bardot.

Arriving close to 1 a.m., Lohan rolled into the “Black and Gold,” singer’s intimate performance clad in black leggings (naturally) and a black top with a jeweled neckline.

“She looked gorgeous,” an onlooker tells Celebuzz, “really thin but pretty. She had great energy.” • Read full story…
