The war between Lindsay Lohan‘s parents Michael and Dina just got taken up a notch. Or ten.

“I need to make the world aware that Lindsay is messed up because her father is messed up,” Dina told the NY Daily News Monday in an explosive new interview.

Dina said her daughter Lindsay’s ongoing problems stem from incidents in which she witnessed her father beat her mother in 1986 – and rape her four years later – going into graphic detail about both incidents.

“Lindsay saw her dad abuse me — that’s why she’s so screwed up,” Dina told the paper, who reported that she brought police and medical reports, as well as a photograph illustrating her injuries from the 1986 attack. “She saw a lot of crazy stuff. I want the world to know the root of her problems.

“Lindsay saw all the beatings and all the abuse. She said, ‘Stay, mommy, don’t leave’ … she said, ‘I’m so sorry for making you stay.’ But I didn’t stay for Lindsay – I wanted all my kids to be happy.”

Dina, 50, told the paper that the attack – one of many she says she endured during their 22-year marriage – occurred after they dined in Cold Spring Harbor, New York. Michael had spent the night getting drunk and high off cocaine, Dina claims, eventually leading him to punch her in the face with a closed fist.

Dina backed up her claim to the paper, with a photo of a bruise under her right eye, holding an infant Lindsay. (A hospital record shows Dina sought medical attention December 4, 1986 for facial “blunt trauma.”)

Dina said that “when Lindsay saw the photo, she was furious. She said, ‘Tell the world! Talk about it!’”

Michael denied the story to the paper, admitting while he did strike his ex, the circumstances were completely different.

“I came in at 2 o’clock in the morning after being out with some friends,” Michael remembered. “I walked in and she hit me with an ice tray. With the back of my hand I slapped her in the face. Yes, it did happen in 1986. Were there any charges? No, not at all. I had a big black and blue on my neck from her.”

As for the alleged sexual assault, Dina said it took place in 1990, during a time he was in-and-out of jail for convictions tied to his former career as a stockbroker.

“Michael was addicted to cocaine, like most stockbrokers back then,” Dina said. “He had a lot of bad stuff going on.”

She said the rape occurred on Valentine’s Day 1990, a timeframe when she and the children were living with her parents. She said Michael showed up in a limousine, “out of jail and on another coke-fueled night,” and trying to rebuild their relationship.

“He said, ‘I love you and I want to be with you,’ but then it went dark. It went dark really quick,” Dina said, adding that the rape occurred as Lindsay and her siblings were sleeping. “I just knew I had to stay quiet … I [didn't] want to wake them.”

Dina, at her parents’ urging, went to the ER and had a rape kit performed, but said she never pursued further punishment for Michael, who was jail-bound at the time anyway because of the stock-related infractions.

Not so, Michael says, recalling of the incident: “I went over to her parents’ house and made love to her … how can you rape a person when they’re on top of you?”

Michael said the rape accusation only sprouted when Dina heard a girlfriend of his in the background on the phone later that night. (He added they were separated at the time.)

“She called me the next day, crying,” he recalled. “I said, ‘Let’s work this out.’ And I got back with Dina. There were no charges.”

Michael said of Dina’s accusation-loaded interview: “She’s bringing this up now because she’s drinking and partying with Lindsay. And she keeps robbing Lindsay.

“She is the devil.”

This week’s episode of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Decorators” (airing January 1) features the “Liz & Dick” star hiring interior designer Kathryn Ireland to renovate her house, and you can take a tour of Casa de Lohan in the sneak peek video above. 

After a brief intro in which Kathryn asks her sons to “Google Lindsay Lohan” to find out what movies she’s been in lately (um, not too many, really), the designer arrives at Lindsay’s secluded Hollywood Hills manse for a walk-through. Lindsay takes her up to her shockingly sparse bedroom, with piles of handbags on the floor and a truly weird mirrored bed in the center. Luckily for Kathryn, Lindsay doesn’t mind getting rid of the mirrored bed; in fact, she wants the exact same bed Kathryn has in her house. (Not at all creepy!)

All told, Bravo spent a whopping $200,000 on the shabby-chic revamp. But if you’re tuning in hoping to see Lindsay react to her newly renovated home, don’t hold your breath. Lohan reportedly refused to film the traditional post-makeover reveal… because the house had become such a mess. And she might not be around to enjoy her new home much longer anyway; TMZ reports that Lindsay is struggling to pay her rent and will likely move out of the house in February, when her lease ends. But hey, at least she got a free reality TV renovation out of it!

After following The Wanted for several days, Lindsay Lohan now seems to distance herself from the boyband as she’s no longer following Max George on Twitter. Her move comes hot on heels of a new interview done by her crush, during which he called her a “groupie.” 

Max made such comment about LiLo when asked by ITN reporter backstage at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball if he’s dating LiLo. “No, what’s the right word for her? A yeah, a groupie!” he answered, to which his fellow bandmate jokingly added, “She is probably hiding in our suitcase right now!” 

Lindsay Lohan has been labeled as The Wanted’s groupie by the media since she hopped on their tour bus. She didn’t seem to object it though and continued to follow them in their tour. It was apparently a different story when the labeling came straight from Max himself. 

Regardless of the rumor that she’s mad at Max over his “groupie” comment, the troubled actress still follows three other members of the British boyband, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes. She also tweets, “I heart the UK.” 

Before she unfollowed 24-year-old Max, the 26-year-old redhead re-tweeted his message that read, “Back in England!!!!:)… Can I make it to the ball tonight… #lawson.” She also posted a picture of his hoodie, “Missing something? @MaxTheWanted.” 

The Wanted are back to their home country after touring the U.S., while LiLo stays Stateside. She’s facing numerous legal woes including misdemeanor charges stemming from a car accident last summer after she’s suspected of giving false information to cops. 

She will be arraigned on December 12 for reckless driving, and resisting, obstructing, or delaying an officer in the course of their duties, in addition to lying to an officer. Rumor has it, prosecutors have already filed papers to ask court to revoke her probation stemming from jewelry theft.

Lindsay Lohan’s impromptu tour with The Wanted has come to an end.

Sources tell E! News that the embattled LiLo will has canceled plans to jump the pond to be with her new Wanted pal, Max George. This also means she won’t be hopping over to Dubai with the Brit-pop group.

Why the sudden about-face? While some peeps in The Wanted camp thought it was because Lohan is forbidden to leave the U.S. because of her probation issues, she actually is allowed to travel abroad.

Perhaps it’s because she and George aren’t officially dating. “All they’re doing is hanging out,” a source said of the twosome, who are no longer following each other on Twitter.

While Lohan is believed to still be in New York, her attorney will be in a Los Angeles courtroom tomorrow for an arraignment on the misdemeanor changes stemming from her November traffic accident in Santa Monica, in which the Porsche she was driving collided with a truck.

Additionally, it is likely that the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office will then move to revoke her probation for a previous DUI arrest. Sources have said they don’t expect Lohan to appear at the hearing (she’s not required to), but if she does, she could face being cuffed in the courtroom followed by a formal booking. If she doesn’t, a later booking date will be arranged.

And if Lohan is hoping for a reunion with George, she’ll have to go to him. The Wanted isn’t expected back in the U.S. until sometime next year after completing work on their next album.

Not the behavioral one advised by the law,according to some, but most definitely the geographical one mapped out by The Wanted‘s tour manager.

Lohan will not be showing up for a court date Wednesday in Los Angeles pertaining to her summer car accident, instead opting to jet overseas with the five new men in her life, sources confirm to E! News.

To be clear, Lohan is not going to get in trouble for not attending the 8:30 a.m. hearing. She is not required to appear because the charges pending against her are misdemeanors and attorney Shawn Holley will be there to represent her.

Lohan is facing counts of willingly resisting, obstructing, or delaying an officer in the course of their duties; providing false information to an officer; and reckless driving stemming from the aftermath of her June 8 smashup on Malibu’s Pacific Coast Highway.

But, for now, it’s off to London and then Dubai with rumored love interest Max George and his boy-band mates within the next 24 hours, a source says.

Lohan saw them open for Justin Bieber at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 28—most notably because she was arrested late that night for allegedly smacking a woman in the face in a dispute having to do with George—and then resurfaced for the first time after the bust backstage at Jingle Ball in Philadelphia, where The Wanted performed.

The world’s new favorite band-aid then hung out with the group during Jingle Ball shows in Boston and again in New York on Friday. No word on whether Lohan’s favorite tune to sing along to is “All Time Low.”

The bad news keeps on tumbling in for troubled Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan. TMZ reports that the “Liz and Dick” star isstruggling to pay the $8,000 rent for her Beverly Hills mansion. Lohan allegedly signed the lease back in February, two months after she posed naked for Playboy magazine for a cool $1 million.

Now TMZ quotes sources that say the 26-year-old has been “hitting up friends for money” for rent and has been, in the meantime, trying to break the lease early, before the February lease end date — when Lohan plans on moving to New York.

The actress’ tax debt has also been well documented by the tabloids in recent weeks. Lohan owes a reported $234,000 in back taxes for the years 2010 and 2011, causing the IRS to seize her bank accounts. The onslaught of money troubles even compelled Lohan’s “Scary Movie 5″ co-star Charlie Sheen to lend her a reported $100,000, though Sheen claimed Monday that Lohan has yet to thank him.

“I’m still waiting for a text to say ‘thank you,’” Sheen told “ET.” “Anything, you know? [She’s] a very good and decent young lady that is just going through a lot. She just needs a little bit of time …People need to give her time to get her s*** together.”

Lindsay Lohan is definitely a fan of The Wanted!

Following her Nov. 29 arrest in NYC, Lohan, 26, made her first appearance at Q102′s Jingle Ball concert in Philadelphia Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Q102 Philly tweeted an exclusive photo of the actress backstage at the concert. Wearing a green coat and grey hat, Lohan had a smile on her face as she signed autographs for fans. According to Q102, Lohan was hanging out backstage with The Wanted.

The British boy band was present at the club where Lohan’s alleged brawl occurred last week. The Liz & Dick star was taken into police custody and charged with assault after a woman claimed Lohan had punched her. Prior to the incident, the actress had attended Justin Bieber and The Wanted’s show at Madison Square Garden.

“It’s a bit of a blur actually,” The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness told MTV News this week. “We actually carried on partying after that. It was reported that [the fight] was about [bandmate] Max [George], but I don’t think it actually was.”

During the band’s Thursday night concert, McGuiness wore a “Free Lindsay” T-shirt. “After a small scuffle that went down, I felt very sorry for her,” he said. “I wanted to cheer her up and I think she said she liked it, right?”

To says there was some drama involved with Lindsay Lohan‘s upcoming Lifetime biopic Liz & Dick would be an understatement. A big one.

“Producing a movie with Lindsay is not for the faint of heart,” executive producer Larry Thompson told reporters during a Wednesday morning conference call. “I turned 50 shades of white actually during the production.”

Even before the film—in which Lohan stars as Elizabeth Taylor—started shooting last summer, though, Thompson acknowledged that hiring the troubled actress came with several strings.

“We had serious challenges to deal with due to her probation and her history,” said Thompson. “Therefore we had to make a deal where there were pages and pages of ‘what if’ clauses. There never was a ‘what if she can act’ clause. It was about, ‘What if there is a car accident? What if there is a violation of her probation [and she's] incarcerated?’ Those ‘what ifs’ were plenty. She might be the most insured actress who ever walked on a soundstage. We tried to insure ourselves against things that could and, in fact, did happen.” • Read full story…
