Lindsay Lohan apparently didn’t show for work on The Canyons today, and the film’s writer Bret Easton Ellis was none too thrilled.

Patrick Bateman has just headed over to Lindsay Lohan’s hotel to confront her as to why she missed her fucking ADR on “The Canyons” today…

Ellis tweeted his annoyance with the troubled actress, 26, writing: “Patrick Bateman has just headed over to Lindsay Lohan’s hotel to confront her as to why she missed her f***ing ADR on The Canyons today…” ADR stands for Automatic Dialog Replacement and is when an actor records lines to loop into an already shot scene.

The creepy joke in this tweet is that Patrick Bateman is the fictional serial killer in Ellis’ novel American Psycho. He was played on the big screen by Christian Bale in 2000.

The Canyons is not to be released until 2013 and also stars porn actor James Deen. A teaser for the psycho-sexual film was released earlier this month.

Lindsay Lohan‘s mommy dearest is the latest Lohan to take on the tag-team tabloid spotlight, and this time, it’s the “Mean Girls” star who’s coming to the rescue.

Dina recently came under fire for her strange appearance on “Dr. Phil,” in which she mumbled, made irrelevant comments and seemed altogether out of it, leading critics to speculate that she was inebriated at the time of the interview.

The older Lohan, 50, denied that she was drunk during the taped interview, telling TMZ that she didn’t “care what it looks like.”

“All people saw was two minutes edited of an hour long interview,” she told TMZ at the time. “Of couse they cut it to make it interesting. That’s their job.

“I don’t blame them for doing that. Some of the comments were taken out of context but I’m fine. I’m fine.”

On Saturday, Lindsay similarly jumped to her mother’s defense, slamming Dr. Phil for bullying Dina.

“@DrPhil You should be ashamed of yourself. What kind of man takes advantage of a woman @her most vulnerable state?” she tweeted. “YOU are the fraud.”

Though the tweet was later removed, the “Liz & Dick” actress, 26, did also note that her mother is “amazing, beautiful, talented” and strong. • Read full story…

Lindsay Lohan had no problem getting into character to play screen legend Elizabeth Taylor in upcoming TV movie Liz & Dick because she is all too familiar with life in the spotlight.

Even though the late movie icon was a two-time Oscar winner, the Mean Girls star insists her experiences as a tabloid spectacle made her perfect for the part.

In a new promotional video for the film, Lohan says, “I’m a huge Elizabeth Taylor fan, and I relate to her on a lot of levels – living in the public eye, dealing with the stress of what other people say, whether it’s true or not.

“I personally understand Liz because you’re living your life for everyone to see and people are growing with you. You get to a point where you become numb to it, and you just live your life in that way you feel you need to live it.”

Lohan’s co-star, Grant Bowler, insists the 26-year-old actress nailed the part: “She’s pretty much Elizabeth Taylor reincarnated.”

The Mean Girls star was actually driving Zapata’s Porsche when she was accused of a hit-and-run crash outside a New York City hotel last week.

She was also photographed carrying the artist’s young son days ago during a separate outing in the city.

Lohan has now clarified to Page Six that she and Zapata are not romantically involved in any way.

“We are just friends. He’s like my brother,” the actress told the newspaper.

Zapata concurred with Lohan’s comments, insisting that he and the star are “definitely not a couple”.

“I think highly of her, but we are just friends that have worked together in the past,” the artist explained.

Lohan was hospitalised this weekend for an apparent lung infection. She later commented thatshe is feeling “all right” following treatment.

The ‘Liz & Dick’ actress sought medical assistance last Sunday from the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City after complaining she had been suffering from pneumonia for some time, but says she is now on the mend after being treated with antibiotics.

She told the New York Post newspaper on Monday: “I got sick again, but I am all right.”
Despite her illness, Lindsay has been working on ‘Scary Movie 5′ and enjoyed the experience as she got a lot of great advice from her co-star Charlie Sheen.

Speaking at the Size Matters party in Central Park on Saturday evening she said: “I have been really sick with pneumonia but I have been working. Actress was ‘treated and released,’ her rep tells People.

Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized Sunday night for a lung infection, TMZ reports.

According to the site, Lohan has been telling friends for weeks that she’s suffering from “walking pneumonia,” and when things got especially bad over the weekend, she was rushed to New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital.

People reports that the actress was hit hard by the effects of asthma. Lohan’s rep told the mag she was “treated and released, and is doing fine.”

This is just the latest health scare for Lohan, who was taken to the hospital in early June after smashing her Porsche into an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, California. The following week, paramedics were called to her penthouse at the Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey, California, where she was filming the Lifetime movie “Liz & Dick.” EMTs left the scene without the actress, and her reps insisted that she was suffering from “exhaustion and dehydration” and said Lohan was actually napping after a grueling stretch of shooting. • Read full story…

Lindsay Lohan was arrested in New York early Wednesday on charges that she clipped a pedestrian with her car and did not stop, police said.

The 26-year-old actress, who was raised in Merrick and Cold Spring Harbor, was arrested at 2:25 a.m. as she left a nightclub at the Dream Hotel on 16th Street in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, police said. They said no alcohol was involved.

Lohan was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and causing injury. She was given a ticket and will have to appear in court at a later date.

Her attorneys did not immediately respond to voicemails and emails from The Associated Press seeking comment. A phone call to her publicist rang unanswered.

Police said Lohan was driving a black Porsche slowly through an alley between the Dream Hotel and the Maritime Hotel when the accident occurred. The victim called 911. He was treated at a hospital for a knee injury and released.

It was the latest car accident involving Lohan.

On June 8, Lohan was involved in a crash in California that sent her and her assistant to a hospital. They were on their way to a shoot for the film “Liz and Dick” when Lohan’s Porsche collided with a dump truck on the Pacific Coast Highway. Neither was seriously injured and Lohan resumed shooting later in the day.

The accident remains under investigation and police have said they are trying to determine who was driving.

Lohan remains on informal probation for taking a necklace last year from a jewelry store without permission. She is not required to check in with a judge or probation officer, but she could face a jail term if she is re-arrested.

Anderson Cooper slammed Lindsay Lohan on his daytime talk show on Tuesday.

It all started when talk on “Anderson Live” turned to Amanda Bynes, and how Lohan took to Twitter to complain about her.

You’ll recall, Lohan tweeted on Sunday, “Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?”

The Mean Girls star was referring to Byne’s legal issues, which include her car being impounded on Sunday after having previously been pulled over while driving with a suspended license, two separate hit-and-run charges, and being arrested for a DUI.

Cooper noted on his show that he does not know Lohan, and “I feel bad for her” and “wish nothing for the best” for her, but felt the “Liz & Dick” star should butt out.

The talk show host said: “If I’m Lindsay Lohan, I would just be quiet and just do your job,” adding, “Get off Twitter, just stop hanging out,and just do your job and comeback. Everyone loves a comeback. Everyone’s rooting for you.”

Los Angeles prosecutors on Tuesday declined to charge actress Lindsay Lohan or her assistant with theft from a Hollywood Hills home where they recently stayed, citing insufficient evidence.

Lohan, 26, was questioned by police after the home’s owner named her in connection with the alleged theft of about $6,400 worth of property. But after investigators completed their probe, Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Deborah L. Kranze declined to charge anyone, including Lohan and an assistant who was with her.

“We do not have sufficient evidence to prove this case beyond a reasonable doubt,” Kranze wrote in evaluating the case.

Kranze’s evaluation added that Lohan and the alleged theft victim had a “longstanding relationship,” and said potential eyewitnesses refused to become involved and no stolen property was found in the possession of Lohan or her assistant.

Celebrity website TMZ.com earlier reported that the troubled actress and her assistant were guests at the home during an all-night party and the owner later reported the theft of stolen jewelry, including watches, amounting to an estimated $100,000. • Read full story…

She had a good run but who really thought Lindsay Lohan could keep the good girl act afloat?
The actress is in danger of violating her probation for a jewellery theft last year with — wait for it — another jewellery theft!

Lilo was originally cleared of wrongdoing for the robbery of $100,000 worth of sunglasses and watches at a house party she went to last weekend. But now TMZ reports both she and her assistant Gavin Doyle are suspects in the case.

The fishy thing is that the owner of the Hollywood mansion, Sam Magid, has since changed his story.

Initially he said that Lindsay let thieves into the party but now claims nothing was stolen.

Cops won’t close the investigation, telling TMZ they’ve got an “independent witness” who has identified Lilo and Gavin as the burglars.

Lindsay’s lawyers have reportedly knocked back police requests for an interview.

According to TMZ, The 26-year-old “could go to jail” if she is found guilty of the robbery while on probation for the theft of a necklace at a Venice jewellery store last year.

Let’s hope for Lindsay’s sake this doesn’t escalate any further. Things have been running pretty smoothly for the notorious party girl lately.

She’s wrapped up filming for the Elizabeth Taylor biopic Liz & Dick and has since kept busy shooting upcoming flick The Canyons with porn star James Deen.
