Lohan’s docu-series “Lindsay” premieres on OWN this Sunday, and the actress explained why she decided to approach Oprah about doing it. “I did it because it’s not a reality show, it’s pretty raw. Obviously it’s TV so things will be edited in certain ways to get ratings, which I can’t control, but I do know that my intentions going into it were really pure and really honest. I appreciate all that’s happened and all that [Oprah has] done for me.”
Lohan continued, “I love that I can call Oprah on the phone, and be like, ‘Oprah, can we talk right now?’ and she calls me within two minutes. I have to trick her into leaving voice mails, so I can just have Oprah’s voicemails… She’s the coolest person ever.”
Calloway shared a story with Lohan about telling Winfrey at the NYC premiere of “The Butler” the news that Lohan cancelled a trip to Europe. Calloway said, “You were supposed to go away and you didn’t go away… I’m the one who told Oprah,” adding, “She was so happy she called you right there on the red carpet.”
With tears in her eyes, Lindsay said to Calloway, “[Oprah] told me that. She’s amazing, she is… She’s been a blessing to me, she’s great and I couldn’t be happier or more grateful.”
On a lighter note, Lindsay had a lot of fun with Fallon. “Its just really good energy. We played a game called water wars. I didn’t realize how much water gets used in that game. I only got one hit once though, which was really good, but then you kind of just want to be soaked so it was kind of a bummer that I didn’t get soaked.”
Fallon, however, did. Lindsay laughed, “I got him, I got him good. I didn’t realize the gun was going to shoot so high. I hit him in the face.”
Lohan said overall she feels really good and she just wants to keep working. “My grandmother’s dream is going to come true. I’m taking her on ‘The Chew,’ so things are looking up. Life is really good.”
Lindsay Lohan is fresh out of rehab and ready to ruffle some feathers.
The “Canyons” star, who just completed a three-month stay at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., stood in as host for an episode of “Chelsea Lately” last night, which is set to air next week. During her pre-recorded appearance she lampoons at least two stars: fellow 20-something actress Kristen Stewart and One Direction boy-bander Harry Styles.
Reading off cue cards, Lohan pokes fun at Stewart’s typical upside-down smile during a bit about the “Twilight” star’s recent anti-paparazzi rant. “I’m just excited that Kristen Stewart finally showed some emotion,” Lohan jokes, though she’s quick to add, “I really like [Kristen], I think she’s awesome.”
But she doesn’t stop there. “Of course [Kristen] hates photographers,” Lohan continues. “They caught a picture of her kissing a married man in a Mini Cooper!” She’s referring, of course, to those infamous paparazzi snaps of Stewart making out with her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director, Rupert Sanders.
Lohan also mocks Styles’s recent denial of his rumored bisexuality, while bringing her own private life into the mix. “Harry Styles was on the cover of British GQ,” she reads. “He was questioned by the interviewer about the rumors that he’s bisexual with a DJ named Nick.” Before proceeding, she quickly interjects, “I’ve been there, I have” — a nod to her former romance with DJ Samantha Ronson.
She goes on: “He answered, ‘We’re just friends.’ When asked how many people he’s slept with, Harry said, ‘Yes, lower than 50. You’re cornering me. I’ve only ever had sex with two people.'” Then she delivers the punchline, quipping, “Yeah, he’s never hung out with The Wanted and he’s obviously not counting oral.”
“She said she felt really good,” a source at the taping reveals to People. “And she was polite to everyone, thanked the whole crew. She was on time, hit her marks, and was very funny. The audience loved her!”
